Meet the Team

Rose Moore

Founder & President

Rose Moore is an artist, traveler, and lifelong giver whose work is rooted in a deep love for people, nature, and the simple joy of sharing food. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, she is the founder of A Bowl Full of Cherries, a nonprofit born from her belief that if you plant something that feeds people, you plant hope.

Through her travels, Rose partners with landowners and local communities to plant fruit-bearing trees—cherry, apple, pear, and other varieties suited to each environment—creating sustainable sources of nourishment that continue to grow long after she leaves. Her work blends creativity, connection, and purpose, turning small acts of generosity into something lasting and tangible.

For Rose, this mission is about more than planting trees. It’s about restoring connection—to the earth, to one another, and to the idea that something simple can make a meaningful difference. She is proud to lead A Bowl Full of Cherries and to help cultivate a future where generosity takes root and communities thrive.
